Serko Halı was established by the late Osman KALAYCIOĞLU on 1950s in order to manufacture hand-made carpets. In 1970s, after the foundation of yarn and weaving facility, it started manufacturing machine-woven carpets.
The carpets that we make for mosques are manufactured from pure wool, their quality is certified from international Wool Secretariat (IWS) and manufactured under Woolmark certificate. We offer to mosques coloring and motif options in accordance with Islamic Compliance and Classical Ottoman motifs in the carpets that we manufacture.
As Serko Halı Sanayi, the conformance of our carpets for human health is as important to us as its quality. “Anti-bacterial mosque carpet” was developed by Serko Halı for the first time in the world. This way, we provide anti-bacterial characteristics for the carpets that we manufacture and improve the reliability of Serko carpets.
In 2009, our carpets received “Incombustibility” certificate from the Aachen University, Institute of Textile and Grounds (TFI AACHEN) in Germany.
